Has anyone put a set of these on?  I guess some stands would be essential (in addition to a really steady pair of hands)?

Thought about it. It'd be nice to see some that were done. I've always worried that they'd look cheap & second rate compared to paint. Price is right on the other hand.
No modification goes unpunished. Memento mori.  Good people drink good beer.  Things happen pretty fast at high speeds.

It's all up to your will level, your thrill level and your skill level.  Everything else is just fluff.

I know of a pinstriper but, A) they most likely would want the wheels off the bike and B) spraying will turn out better. I went through both processes getting some custom striping done on my Seven bicycle frame.

speaking of pinstriping do you guys know of a place where I can get my wheels powdercoated, I tried a place in Kapolei (Mekala Powdercoat & Patio Manufacturing) but could not for the life of me find it, any recommendations? I'm also trying to fix-up a 1975 Yamaha YZ125 and some stuff on it also needs to get powdercoated so any info would be appreciated...

I think I would like to get the rearsets from the Daytona powdercoated as well.  What was the address of this place in Kapolei?

They seem really good, I just could not find the place I'm sure it was staring me right in the face... [bang]

I'm ignorant.  Is spraying spray painting?  Why would that make a difference?

Spraying is spray painting, yes.  It comes out better because a uniform color and line is achieved with that method as opposed to laying down a paint line by hand. There is also a better color choice and color control with the spray method. Of course everthing depends on the prep work and laying down the tape. It's lots of work.
