New rider from Australia saying hello

Hi all, I am new to the Ducati forum, but have been riding my 1100 monster for a year and a half. I love this bike and riding it is a real joy. I commute often and take on the Sunday twisties north of Sydney whenever I can. I've had a GSXR 1000, a Suzuki M109 sport cruiser, a Honda Hornet 919, and various smaller bikes in my 8 years of riding. I like to tinker and this bike is perfect for that!! I bought my first bike in my early 40's and have discovered the joy of man and machine that you all know about. I plan to keep this bike for a long time as it is almost the perfect bike for me. welcome to the board. there are a bunch of members from down your way, although i don't claim to know exactly where they are (just that compared to my location, they are "local" to you..)

anyway, check out the locals clubs section to find any folks who might actually be near you. and enjoy the bike!
