I cant believe Marco was dropped  . From a first aid perspective that is just about as bad as it gets  for a person involved in a crash.

The Malaysians need to take drastic steps to  improve track procedures. Its just crazy that he was carried by stretcher in the first place given an ambulance was sitting track side with a trauma specialist standing by.

He was dead already. Read somewhere his old man being interviewed saying, the drop while it looked bad no one should put blame upon the medics. Have to agree, we all saw the crash, no way he survived it, and if he did, id doubt the stretcher drop could of done anymore damage!

If his old man isnt blaming anyone we certainly shouldnt be speculating.

For legal reasons you will very seldom have a rider/driver declared "Deceased at Scene"!

That would of course open a can of worms re Police Investigation, track as a "Death/Crime scene", blah, blah!! I unfortunately was competing when a rider was killed at a track, but he was whisked off to the hospital where he was pronounced deceased.

I know it sounds ghoulish but the $$ and track insurances, not to mention the authorities could close the track indefinitely pending investigations.

I might be wrong but I think the Senna incident is an example of this, and how the Powers that Be can cause massive ructions 

With exorbitant track insurance in this country, along with anti motorracings groups (Greens and the like) An incident could cause the track to be forced to close!!

The way it works in Australia Dragon, is if the person is deceased at the accident it becomes a crime scene and the police tape off the area that they think would give them evidence, this could be as big as a couple of car lengths or it could take up a whole street, its up to them to figure this out when they arrive on scene, so if that's the same overseas you want to save the guy so you whisk him away in an Ambo ('cos its determined that he's still alive, in other words they (track side aid) don't have the authority to pronounce him dead) and do what they have to do to try and revive him.
