BTW, seeing that earlier today prompted me to go looking (unsuccessfully) for links to the crazy Dutch fellow who had a blog detailing his misadventures overlanding all around the world with a superbike (an R1, I think?) with a huge aluminum trunk/saddlebag on it. Great photos & videos of him doing water crossings almost that deep in Africa & then draining the muddy water out of his crankcase, taking the bike (complete with massive alu luggage) out on the track and other completely inappropriate uses for that bike. Anyone know how to find that?

This guy is a fool, at least put enduro tires on the R1.  The only time he put on non-street tires was on the snow with spiked tires.
