Just saw them play an amazing set at the Orbit Room in Grand Rapids, MI.

If they are coming to your town do not miss them!

For a couple of guys that should be collecting Social Security checks, they are beyond unbelievable.

All that was missing was Morrison! Awesome! A friend and I saw The Doors live when we were in the 9th grade at the State Fair Music Hall at the State Fair of Texas in Dallas. Morrison was shit faced sucking on a bottle of booze on stage the whole show and you could get high on all the pot being smoked in the audience just by sitting there. I didn't smoke anything but had a damn hard time explaining the smell on my clothes to my parents when I got home! Ahhhh... the good old days! Great make the beast with two backsing show! Won't ever forget it.

Wow, Waiting For The Sun is one of my all time favorite Doors songs! Gave me the chills hearing them play it on the video. Makes me think back to that Doors show when I was in the 9th grade and how damn lucky I was to see it. My buddy and I didn't have a drivers license yet so his Dad had to take us and pick us up. I'm sure we reeked of pot and his Dad kept asking us why we "smelled so funny". We were probably 2 of maybe 10 people in the whole auditorium that wasn't smoking pot! I think my buddy said something about some sort of incense that was burning not wanting to admit to Dad that pot was everywhere. I got the 3rd degree when I got home too.

Awesome show and it's really cool that they are still keeping the music alive. Wonder how many Morrison wannabes tried out for that band? Big damn shoes to fill.
