alright guys new here, thought i would introduce myself. im 23 and live in the uk, been riding bikes since i was 13 and i live for this sh*t  ;D. iv just bought my first ducati monster and love it. im very proud to say that it is an original monster, m900 1993 with only 22k miles on the clock and had i not just told you about the miles you would have thought it was fresh out the factory. its not quite what i used to as my last two bikes have been yamaha r6's but its only when i start riding it like i used to my 4 stroke ktm supermoto it all starts to make sense. the bike was bought fitted with raised bosh carbon pipes magnesium wheels K&N air filter in an open housing high profile tyres and a stage 2 dyno jet kit. as i have not ridden the bike with out these upgrades i dont no how much this has affected the overall performance, I was hoping some one could shed some light on that.
as a forum for ducati followers what are your thoughts on upgrades on such an original? (performance and cosmetic). because personally i feel it abit of a crime to tamper with it. saying that i would live to run it with a full works open clutch  [cheeky]

welcome to the board. make sure and check out the tech section, as well as the accessories and mods section. lots of great info in both places.
Never wrestle with pigs. You both get dirty, and the pigs like it...

Welcome!  I think if it were me I'd more or less ride it as-is, with maybe some tinkering to dial in the suspension as needed.  Possibly FCRs too  [Dolph]
