As a local to the Chicago area, I concurr on the fact that the Midwest blows for traveling.  Glad I've moved west to Seattle, where the Pacific really isn't all that far of a ride away

Great pics....my favorites are of the car with a mouth full of hay in (what appears to be) a failed attempt to improve milage

I think he was looking for increased downforce.  He says it was a tad windy driving across Kansas.

the food was amazing. no worries about not meeting up. it was awfully late notice.
i appreciate the help i was given the whole way.

regarding the wind, it was strong enough that it was pushing cars all over the road. there was a freshly overturned tractor trailer in CO.
