I don't know why anyone would want to wear glasses.  Love my contacts.  Find someone who will let you try several pair until you get ones that feel so good you don't even know your wearing them.  I've done everything in my contacts: ride, ski, surf, water ski, shower...what ever.  Zero problems.  Once you get contacts then you can also get a pregnant dog'en pair of sunglasses.  No more clip-on's.
He man, where are all the ads?

I wear both, but only contacts when I ride. they will dry out a bit from a little wind but just remember to blink every now and again [thumbsup]. I can see much better with my contacts, but still have some night vision issues (either way though). I too like the kind you take out nightly. Been wearing acuvue 2's for years without a single problem. 1 quick pointer, stash an extra set in your tankbag or somewhere in case you lose one out on the road. I also bring an extra set when I travel. I went to Kona one year and for some reason di not pack an extra set and tore one, had to where my glasses for the rest of the trip...

I tried contacts several times before and they never quite worked for me, until I found a decent eye doctor that helped me find the right kind for me.  I was 53 at the time.  I love em!   At the time, the main reason I got them was for scuba diving...I have a very strong Rx (-10) and my Rx scuba mask lenses were really thick with lots of distortion, and I couldt get bifocals with that steep a correction.  With contacts, I switched to normal lenses in the mask with magnifier inserts and was delighted with the results.

With the motorcycle, they do dry out as some stated, but wearing wrap type sunglasses helps (I also use wrap type untinted safety glasses at night and low light conditions to keep them from drying out).

Go for it!!

Had my eye appt. today and the dock says no contacts for me.

My prescripton requires prizm (my eyes always want to go crossed a little bit) and that can't be addressed with contacts.

sorry to hear that; my daughter's eyes do that somewhat.  Our doc is trying to correct it with glasses now in hopes that she can get contacts later.
Some people are like Slinkies. They're really good for nothing; however, they can still bring a smile to your face when you push them down a flight of stairs.
