I think you're our first 795 owner. At least the first 795 owner that I'm aware has joined the board.

Welcome. If you have questions, we are happy to help.

Hi all,
thank you for your wellcome.

I live in VietNam and this is the fist time I own Ducati monster

I bought SLIP ON OPEN EXHAUST SYSTEM for the DUCATI MONSTER 796 -- Product code: S-D10SO4-ZC ,
It is shipping to VN and I will install it to my Monster

peopel say that I must install The new ECU reflas or reflash on the original ECU or instal Bazzaz or PC V...

Would you help me explain it more?

thank you.

Welcome!

Maybe better to post this question in the technical thread since not too many people visit this thread.

Only guessing, but if you only install the slip-ons and don't modify the air intake, the stock ECU may be able to cope. If you are after more performance, then will will need to do more.

Interesting bike. A 796 in a 696 chassis. Is there a dealer in Viet Nam?

If your bike takes in more air it might need tuning (special open airbox intake)
If your bike lets out more exhaust it might need tuning (very open exhaust)
If your bike does both, it will probably need tuning (Ducati ECU, reflash, PCV or ....)

This Akra kit isn't very open (street legal and with catalytic convertor), so you're probably fine without tuning.

To learn more, as mentioned, ask the question in "tech" or "accessories & mods" [thumbsup]
