Finally!

So, after a month of owning but not having ridden my 2008 s2r, I finally got to ride today.  [moto]

My dad and I took off up to Navajo Dam (local lake) for the first ride, and I must say, it was a blast.  He was on his BMW R1200GS and did a good job of making that giant beast move.  Being the first time I've taken the bike out, I was hesitant to keep up with him through the turns, but it was easy enough to catch him in the straights.  After we got back, dad was done, but I went out for more.

I can definitely feel that the bike wants to do more than I'm making it do, which is nice, but I'm trying not to push my luck.  That and it hasn't been broken in yet.

Next up: over the mountains to Silverton, CO!
