My Dad (long gone now) was an instructor in the old Army Air Corp (privy to the US Air Force monicor). And he was a member of the (before PC took over) Confederate Air Force for damn near 25 years. Can't tell you how many air shows and Oshcosh,WI "fly ins" and Reno Air Races I got to see with him... just about brings tears to my eyes. When he died and I had to clean out his hanger was crushing. BUT I remember those air shows and most of all the P-51s!!! And his T-6 Texans and T-28s! RIP Dad. I know you are flying up there somewhere. God speed.
