I vividly remember reading Ash's cover-story review of the 916 in MCN - and then years later coming across a copy of the same issue while I was going through a late riding buddy's personal effects.

It's wonderful writing that still thrills to this day - and I was happy to see it show up today in tribute, reprinted at Hell for Leather:
