I'm trying to fix some browser compatibility problems on my site, but I don't know enough about CSS to spot what's wrong, even when the W3C checker tells me what line is a problem.

Anyone know CSS enough if I post some lines from one of my files, and the error message I'm getting, can figure out what's happening?

thanks in advance.

You might ask Root Chick. If she doest know she probably knows someone who does.

maybe you can point me in the right direction?

I'm using wordpress and have a theme that shows a left column of content, and a right sidebar.
In IE & FF, the right sidebar shows fine.  In Chrome, the sidebar display for a blink, then disappears.  It's still there because I can move my mouse over where it is and click the links and such, but it's almost like it's hidden behind a layer.

I know it's a shot in the dark, but any suggestions?

Sorry for the delay - though I flagged this to notify me of responses - but I guess I didn't

Hmm trying to make a diagnosis like that is like trying to fix a 'strange noise' from a motorcycle over the internet.

Is the site some place that I can look at it?

Did you create the theme? Or is it commercial? Got any plugins widgets etc running?

no worries.

I knew it was kind of a needle-in-a-haystack-from-space kind of thing, hoped it'd be something like "oh, blablah conflicts with chrome."

the good news is I updated 1 plugin and boom it works in ie/chrome/ff, so I'm good anyway.

Thanks for responding tho, very kind of you to offer.
