Would box exhaust look/sound better or am i better off with this?
Heres a quick pic
It does go nice w rest of cf on my bike tho..and sounds amazeballs :)

I really don't think you will but your opinion is the one that counts at the end of the day. Those Zard's sound amazing. While I had the QD on my S2R the look is impressive showing off the SSS but the sound wasn't too my liking ended up with the Arrows and while the shotgun look covered the wheel a bit the sound was AAAAAAAAAAAAAAMMMMMMMMMMAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZIIIIIIIIIIIINNNNNNNNNNNNGGGGGGGGGGG

Were it my bike I would stick with the Zard. I think it looks way better than the Qbox and the sound of them is so sweet.

Sorry for the dideway pic no clue how that happened its straight on my comp.

I never heard it in person hence the question.
I had a set of termis before and didnt mind that either
As for covering up the wheel, they really dont cover it at all but id just like a bit of change

You guys run into tuning and power curve issues with the qd box? Iirc there are some threads on this that might inform your decision. Great looking bike btw.

i will look into the tuning of it.
not even sure what the going cost of them are, but ever since i seen it i always wanted it. I'm sure i can find someone to simply trade if i decide to go that route.

changed the pic so its right side up hehe.

I had an Ex-Box.

Long story short, keep your Zards.  They sound much, much better.

Posted early this summer I was interested in a used quad box for my s2r 1K to replace the stock exhaust. Think it looks great but the sound clips avail on you tube videos is hard to appreciate (I have never heard one running in person). Only could find some new ones for sale at $1200 ish.

Received some spam/scam emails from some guy in England saying he had a used set.

Bought some new sil-moto slip ons for $500 instead.
