Beats by Dre Headphone Question

My wife gave me a set of Beat Studio headphones for Christmas.  The sales guy told her they were Bluetooth, but they're not and need the wire.  She wants to exchange them and pay I think about $80 more for the Bluetooth version. 

The wireless model has the obvious cool factor and convenience of no wires but I've read that the sound quality may be slightly better in the wired version (I know there are better headphones than Beats for less money but these were a gift and I'm staying with the brand) and battery life is a lot better with the wired version.  I like music but I'm not an audiophile and my hearing isn't the greatest to begin with.

I'd sure appreciate any comments or opinions on wireless vs wired versions of Beats Studio headphones.

I haven't used wireless, but I would suggest stopping at the store and do a test of each to see (hear) what you like best.

Yeah, good advice and it made me realize that I won't be able to tell the difference.   Me worrying about headphone sound quality is like a blind guy worrying about the color of  his bike.  I think I'll go ahead and swap them out for the wireless version for the cool factor alone.  It'll be a good balance and counterpoint for all the old school stuff around here.
