Don't know of any appropriate stainless ones for the task. California Cycle Works has the zinc coated steel type with integral flange for the application.

Yes, maybe Ti is the way to go, if I can find any lol ... I was wondering if Bevel head nuts will fit ?, as Ive found some of those in stainless, are M750 and Bevel both M10x1.5 ? ... If so my search will be over.

Many thanks guys  [beer] ... Monsta, I found some "Bevel" stainless head nuts on ebay, from this supplier in NZ, good price too. They arrived today and fit perfectly  [thumbsup]

sweet! thanks for that.

have you got a build thread? didnt realise you were doing pistons and other bits until I saw another post. I'm rebuilding my 97' 750 too ;D

Von Eisen

Been reading your build thread with interest Nibor, its coming along nicely  [thumbsup]
No, I havent started the build yet , Ive been amassing parts over the last year +. Now Im just waiting on the heads from the engineer, need to powder coat the frame, then the fun part can begin ... I will start a thread when I have some build pics to show you  :)

I cant remember if the nuts were low profile or something for access, but if they're just standard flange nuts, I just found this mob too. you may like them for any other stainless bits you need, Von Eisen. they look to stock a lot!

Thanks for the link Nibor [thumbsup] ... Yes, the OEM M750 head nuts do have a lower profile than the Bevel nuts, Ive machined approx 2.5mm off these stainless Bevel nuts (which are nice quality) ... A lot of messing around but Ive now got what I wanted.
