DARN IT!!.

I didnt even think about this. I went ahead with the fork because all others just looked terrible that I saw. I will have him place it under the seat next year though.

I have never been pulled over myself and asked about it. I should have thought about this as an option.

Yeah, I understand. I put it on my forks the first time and regretted it.  It's a HUGE pain to remove those stickers too, they are designed to be scraped off -- which is just fantastic for your anodize finish.  Pro-Tip, soak it in alcohol and use a hair dryer, alternating.  It will eventually loosen and you can use denatured alcohol and your fingernails to get the residue off.

The pic above is also a good option but you can mount it UNDER the passenger peg too if you want to keep them, just need a longer bolt.
