Brown/white wire.
...and that's what happens when you go by recollection of a wiring diagram. :P

Brown/white it is. [thumbsup]

Thanks for the steer Duc and Howie, will test these wires and see if we can identify if this is the source of the problem

Guys, forgive me I haven't been back at the bike since today.
Had a few things happen meant I haven't ridden in a while.

Lockdown has eased here in the Uk and I'm looking to get out and ride again.

I got a pal to turn the bike on and off 4 times and tested the voltage at each of the 4 wires (positive on wire, negative on battery negative terminal) and nothing, no voltage on each occasion...

Any ideas?

Thanks

Howie

Did you check ALL of the fuses including the main fuse (not just visual)?

Ken Masters

Yes checked all the fuses including the spares visually and with multimeter, all gave an Ohms reading..

Howie

Gauges sweeping and functioning properly?  What is the immobilizer light doing?  Got power at terminal 30 (red/black at the main relay?  Power at terminal 30 at the FI relay?

Ken Masters

it looks like a case of bad soldering joints through the epoxy casing..

Here's a vid for anyone interested in this common problem:

I'm told a new pump and fittings is like £800 from ducati so I may have to go down the re soldering route.  Will have a look at ca cycleworks first..

For my peace of mind where is the main fuse located?

TIA

Ken Masters

Just to wrap this up, t'was indeed the poor soldering.
Re-soldered, bike back up and running now.

Thanks to all for your input.
