Brake pad recommendations ?

Looking to swap out the front brake pads on my ‘07 S4RS, as I’ve managed to make the front tire chatter a few times under heavy braking. Assuming that the pads I currently have are stock, what’s a good recommendation for something a little less grippy?

Show us a pic of the old pads. Maybe they were aggressive sintered pads fitted at some time in the bikes life. Organic, non sintered pads are usually less aggressive in bite and initial take up.
Also consider the tyre and suspension set up.

Just shows how strong stock most Ducati brakes are. I had to do the same on my last M900, fierce brakes with heart stopping bite in low grip conditions.

It’s supposed to rain all day tomorrow, so I’ll see if I can pull a caliper and get a pad off for pics.

Does that bike have 4 pad calipers?  I sorta remember something about installing restricters to the calipers as a factory fix to reduce vibration, the idea being to slow the application.  I will see if I could find anything on the interwebs.  Koko's suggestion of less aggressive pads may well be an easier and better solution.  You might also want to make sure you are not bottoming the forks on hard braking.
