One thing to note is those bikes have carbs, whether that matters to you or not I do not know.

My advice: buy that awesome bike before I do!

Duc and Cover

I just took the ERC and the instructor had one. He seemed to think it was comfortable, but I don't know if he did much 2-up riding. I've always had a thing for that bike even though it looks nothing like what I would normally like in a bike.
...CRG bar-ends, DIY tail chop, open clutch cover, open timing belt cover, stainless clutch springs w/black caps, Bitubo top-mount steering damper, 14-t front sprocket, integrated LED smoked tail light, clear front mini signals, full Termi exhaust, DP open airbox, DP ECU, suspension tuned by DucPond Racing, flipped handlebars, titanium Rizoma reservoirs, DIY chopped bikini fairing, DucDual headlights w/halos, mini CF rear chain guard, pro-grips, misplaced emissions canister...

Touring?  On a bike without some semblance of fairing, probably not.

Otherwise, Z-rex-es are cool!  [evil]

A used Suzuki Bandit is also a great inexpensive do-it-all bike.  It's capable and reliable for track, drag, touring, commuting, and fighter-ing.   ;D

Here's mine in commuting and touring modes, respectively:

'05 S4R (>47k mi); '04 Bandit 1200 (>92k mi; sold); '02 Bandit 1200 (>11k mi); '97 Bandit 1200 (2k mi); '13 FJR1300 (1k mi); IBA #28454 "45"
