Its the age thing...and an occasionally good memory for music of the past...I like dredging up songs that you don't really hear much...ones that are off the beaten path even for "oldies"

Some day I will write something about drinking (many, many) beers on Sunday afternoons at age 15 in The Back Fence on Bleecker and Thompson breaking balls with Dave Von Ronk, Tom Rush, and a few others of the old folk era who were there just plunking out tunes for free beers...NY drinking age was 18 at the time and I passed for it in a few establishments that were casual about those things...I've had a good run

My 20 something son-in-law thinks it's cool.  Maybe he can do his MS thesis on rock-n-roll history on our collections.
