Hi all,

I've been on these forums lurking for a bit and since I never see anyone post up rides I figured I'd throw one out. I'm gonna be heading up into sussex/delawaregap/west milford area. I don't know if anyone has ever been up there but the roads are truly the best in the tristate area. The traffic is light to non existent, roads are pristine, and the scenery is great. On the route I take you'll get blind corners, elevation changes, decreasing radius corners. In my opinion these are the best roads to learn on for beginners, and the most fun roads that experienced riders can ride on. Anyone who's ridden with me on group rides knows that above all else I'm safe. I use signals like to keep the group staggered and will never ditch anyone.

I usually ride with groups from other forums but since I bought a ducati i figured it would be cool to get to know some new riders. As of right now the weather looks sketchy so  I will update this thread as the week goes on to see if we have to postpone it. needless to say you guys can plan on a long day. Whenever I do these runs the day usually goes for about 4 hours or so. All skill levels are welcome to come along, the pace go according to the level of riders that show up. Either way I don't want anyone pushing to keep up or feel like this is some kind of street race. Don't worry about losing the person in front of you. I stop at every stop sign or turn and make sure the pack is together. Just have fun and ride at your own pace.  [thumbsup]

Hey,

If you mean 9/13 this coming Sat I would be interested and would bring one more with me. A 4 hour ride sounds good. If the weather is good and this happens do you think we can start earlier than 9? Maybe meet up at 8am?

Sounds like a great ride wish I could join, but I'll be at Indy.

As far as I'm concerned the earlier the better. Means less traffic and police. I guess we can decide that as we get closer to saturday, but if most people are down with an 8 am meet time that would be fine.

I am to meet friends for brunch either this Sturday or next Saturday.  If brunch is next then I'm in.  I'll post up once I have clarity.
Oh, and I support the 8am time!

Yeah, we can make the final decision by thursday night. I'm still holding out hope, but if it's still bad by thursday night I'll call it.

dim sum is ONLY good at the begining of brunch, everything from 1pm and on is disgusting. Which restaurant do you hit up? Chinese breakfast = one of my favorite (but probably most expensive) breakfasts.

Sunday = big no no. NFL  [evil]

Big fan of Golden Bridge.  Place is packed by 11:30am on Sundays.  Saturdays are more sane.
