I am a friend of hers and I will help her through these troubled times ........

Then, be a good friend and assist her.
Be kind to her and help her pick herself up.
It can happen to anyone out there who has a few and then drives....
it's fairly easy these days to get busted.
What your friend needs now is help and companionship.

I can recommend a foremost SoCal Attorney that specializes in this sort of case.....
and he can refer the right contact for her up in your area.
Just let me know.

Who doesn't?  [wine]
I got wasted myself every single time I go out, I don't think it's a big deal, unless you're driving to go back home...

As do I.
If the state had not cut funding for the mental institutions, this project could never have happened.

I agree with the minority of comments made... don't be so quick to point the finger, when nearly 100% of the population has done this on at least one occasion.

unless you never drink, not one drink at all, get off your high horse.  the difference between your friend and yourself is that you haven't been caught.

my brother has gotten one, one of my friends has gotten one. the cop that pulled over my friend told him that his (the cop's) father has gotten one... many people in your friend's dui class will have multiple offensives.

[drink]

and be safe

Nah she deserved it.

She had several accidents in the last few months related to drinking and driving. Luckily it was just her backing into car or rubbing her car against a wall but it could have been much worse.

And there is a difference. If I drink a Beer I dont drive for a hour etc or I have a designated driver so there is a difference.  This is not about getting off a high horse this is about commen sense so I disagree with you.

I hate it when people try to justify why they got a DUI... Its rather simple

Just because you know people who have had 1 or several as you state does not make it any more acceptable. Your post kind of boggles my mind actually  ???

she's not my friend. i know jack shit about her, you must have meant the OP. but if a friend of mine drank and drive, then i'd say the exact same thing. She absolutely deserved it.

Gawd, the internet makes people so black n' white.  It's fine to say that someone deserves punishment and still say that they're a friend and that you want to help them out.  They're not mutually exclusive.  You don't need to condone the action to support someone who matters to you.  Otherwise, we'd all be make the beast with two backsed.  All of us.  So why don't y'all just leave this between Robs4R and his friend, eh?  He's allowed to be angry with her.

Well Put

I am upset with her because I care about her. I am Not going to pat her on the back and say.... no big deal... On the other hand I am going to help her as much as I can to get through this and put her on the right track.

I am going to lock this thread now since it served its purpose  ;)
