Hey guys,

I'm in Brooklyn.  Wondering where to go to find a large selection of helmets and boots and rain gear.  I'm looking to get a new helmet, either Arai, Shoei, or HJC... maybe something more rare like Schuberth though I don't expect to find one here.  Any suggestions of where I should go for the best selection and ability to try things on?  All I've checked is Corsa Motorsports in SoHo and they don't have a whole lot.

Thanks!

Hudson Valley motorcyle in Ossining has a ton of helmets.

Rockwell Cycles up by Bear mountain has a lot of gear as well.

Why do roaches always die on their back?

That because the survivors flip them over to steal their sneakers and wallets.

The best supply of helmets in NYC is at Camrod on 46th and 11th here in Manhattan.

Raingear and boots - try NewEnough.com [thumbsup]

Just make sure to call camrod twice to confirm if your looking for something specific.  I called and confirmed tires I needed (they claimed to have 10 sets) and when I got there they said they didn't have them and had to order. :-\

Add to the list Cliff's and Branchville in Conneticut.  Christine at Branchville is very good with women's gear.

I think Cliff's in Brookfield, CT will be having their open house store-wide sale on Sat 9/27 so you may want to go there then and I believe they do have plenty of selections in stock.  However, I suggest to call them first to confirm.

I'll be going there to check-out their instock bling for my newly acquired '06 749  ;D

oh btw, if you do end up getting large items from them and you rode there, you can have it shipped to your NY address and also avoid paying sales tax.  My last purchase (jacket, gloves, etc) from them only cost me $10 UPS ground shipping and received it the next day when they shipped it the same day .
