How long you've been riding: a little over 2 years

I just got my monster about 4 months ago with only 1K miles on it, now it has 3.5K.  I love the thing to death; its my therapy and i get grumpy and depressed if i go more than a few days without riding it.  As of right now its all stock (due to being a poor college student), but i have a slew of ideas brewing in my head.  My dad and older brother use to race motorcycles and i would like to follow in their footsteps one day (this is where that whole college student thing gets in the way again). anywho, that kind of sums things up.

Welcome, Kat.  We're having our monthly meet-up (last thurs of the month) next Thurs at Zeitgeist in SF.  Keep an eye on the local board for specifics, but make sure to swing on by.    Beer, tamales, motorcycle chatter and monsters.  All good stuff.

Yea went to Z one of the times you guys were there awhile back, and i talked to a few of you, but i didnt have a duc yet.  what time do you guys meet up?  cuz i work a couple of blocks away from there but i dont get off until 9 that night.

It generally starts somewhere around 6:30ish to 7ish.  But since it's Drunkenmonkey's B-day (he's turning 800), we'll be there much later than 9, I promise.  I'm even contemplating pre-emptively telling work that I plan on getting ebola Friday morning and won't be in.
