hey guys, we made it thru IKE just fine.  we've just had our power turned back on the day before yesterday.

soooo, it's good to see/hear/read  most all of you are alive and well also.

one of my bicycle-shop buddies lost his rental house, total destruction pretty much.  he's got a pretty good network of friends so he's doing well enough now.

i actually got some great shots of my mom's subdivision and posted them on click2houston.  there are lots of huge, old trees over there.
me... well, i've got 3 out of 4 trees that fell down in my front yard, but they are pitiful enough that i just pushed them back up.  whew! my work here is done!!!
course, then i spent 2 days cleaning up my mom's yard.  the result??  a pile of tree stuff that is 4 ft tall, 6 ft wide and 20 ft long!!! no joke.
