If the mount on the engine mount bolts, I suspect they'll need sleeving to fit a pre '99 bike - they went from 10mm to 12mm engine mount bolts sometime around then, so your 620 oggy knobs will have 12mm holes in them...

Hey guys, as some of you may be aware I recently laid my M620 down on her side and bent my foot brake lever.
If you have a spare that you want to sell (or know where I can buy a cheap 2nd hand one).

Rod you may also want to have a good look at your front end.
If you went down hard enough to bend your bars you should undo both bolts
on the lower triples on each stanchion to release any tension from the forks twisting .
Just crack them enough to release then nip them up again.
Recommended after all drops.
