Dude, seriously? Just get the 916 type brake mount and make that work.

Are your Arrows still in new condition? We can consign them for you if they are. Even though your situation may not be ideal, it's not quite fair to tell folks not to buy from them; it's pretty hard to make ends meet in the motorcycle parts industry. Anyone you buy from is going to have terms attached to the sale -- it's about not losing money. It's a difficult balance between keeping people happy against simply paying people to walk in the door. There are products if someone wanted to buy from us, we'd be better off giving you a $20 bill and telling you to piss off. We're working on adding GSXR parts to our catalog so we can try to match 2005's income.

Thanks,
Chris

Dude, seriously?

yep, i'm confused...  ;)

if you're really going to look for different rearsets, cyclecat's had the MC mounted to the engine, which will work w/the arrow high mounts.

if you can find any these days... again, ebay, maybe?

well until i saw that pic i didnt know how in the world that would work. and i still don't like it. i think I'm just going to rework my DP rear sets.
as far as what you said about the return policy........ its one thing not to take back used stuff, or special orders but to not allow me to return a new product (i pay for shipping) for my money back is horse shit! plus i had to call them 5 or 6 times to try and figure out where my parts were.
but this isn't the point I'm just trying to figure out how to make all this work. i love my rear sets and the new exhaust gives me wood. i appreciate all the help and like i said until i saw that pic i had no clue how that would ever work.

It's also used on the ST2/3/4, 748,916,996,998, 749,999, 848,1098 so there should be plenty of used setups available on the net if you can't get those other rearsets to work.

Good luck ---

Can you put some spacers on the rearset mount to move it out further away from the exhaust? The OEM mount has 1/2" (estimate) spacers. I have Arrow Highs and also interested in putting rearsets on.

@NYC: the above issues are NOT a problem if you get S&P rear sets like those from www.redracingparts.com in Italy. We have AG Hammer rearsets on special ... if you're very careful with them, we can send them to you to ensure they fit and then charge you after the fact if they do. If not, send `em back to us. I looked at their propaganda showing them mounted on a Monster with their own mufflers ... It's hard to say if these parts are compatible with Arrow hi mounts.

Dang, it's hard to tell if the Sato rearsets we also sell will work either:

i have been doing alot of looking and the only rear sets that i have found that look like they might work are the rizoma's but they are a bit spendy! im trying to find a exhaust shop that will lengthen the pipe where it connects to the mid pipe. i figured 3 more inches of pipe will solve all my problems
