Bike Night @ Wet Willies/FW-east

Hello again, I have info from the owners of the new Wet Willies Sports Bar and Grill on Bridge St. which is on the north side of I-30 east of downtown FW (the Old Bennigan's building now redone fronting on the north side of I-30 between Brentwood Stair and Oakland exits) that they want to start a Bike Night on Thursdays. Last week they had a really huge turn out of the stunt and stopie crowd but said owners told me that this group will probably not be back (no topless dancers here). To which I then asked the sort of clientele they would prefer. To which came back a reply of a mature more refined and less rowdy bunch of hooligans. Euro Bikes welcomed of course! I ride a Red '04 Duc ST4s and never felt so alienated in a crowd of bikers. Not even HD riders shun you like that! God Bless V-twins! So, again from the owners mouth they do not serve bad food. They serve nothing that was previously frozen. Everything from salads to burgers wine to Margaritas is on the menu. No, I don't work there and am taking the owners word for all this because the palce just opened last month. I just thought this would be a great chance to gather up the Ducs in a row and have some fun together. This includes tomorrow night 10-2-08. I'm making plans to park in the front row. Well-lit parking lot, freshly paved and nicely done interior with tons of flat screens and a couple of pool tables. Spread this around to other Euro bikers and make this an easy to get to fun bike night. There's no reason why the outlaws get to have all the bike nights so here's your chance to run with a more refined crowd...ha ha.

Charlie,

Wish you had posted up sooner.  We certainly will want to consider that place on the next Thursday night dinner which will be on the 16th.  Some may decide to check the place out as early as next Thursday as we have our dinners every other Thursday.

I'm afraid it's a bit late to move the venue of tomorrow's dinner to accomodate you.  Like I said for sure October 16, maybe earlier for others.  I hope to be back in town for it but if not, I'm sure others on the list will be intersted to check it out.
