I live in West Texas.  We get a few cold months, mainly rain.  The longest my bike will go with out being ridden is a month.  Two if we have an extreme winter.  But even then I probably won't be riding it everyday.   Those who aren't winterizing... what do you do for short breaks?  How often do you star it, warm it up?

I ride through the cold also (not that North Carolina really gets that cold).  Being a full time student, with a full time job supervising 69 people, a 2 year old, and 7 month old at home, I need the sanity breaks year round.  It's worth freezing my nuts off to have a little peace.
