I posted this in the AZDRA section, but thought the Monster population as a whole might enjoy it... Pennyrobber and I went on a great ride over an extended weekend in September.  I have just now finished going through the nearly 1000 images I got from going through 4 states in 4 days.  We packed a lot of riding and adventure into the ride...one of the best trips I've done so far.  The full report is up on my website (give the pics a minute to load: www.gerhartdesignstudio.com/GiroDiQuattroAngolo.htm ), but here are some teaser shots:

nice write up, and great pictures! i have a shot almost exactly like that, of looking down on albuquerque from sandia crest... unfortunately didn't get there via bike, so not as fun. [laugh]

a tour of the southwest by motorbike is now officially (higher up) on my 'to-do' list. [thumbsup]

Great pictures and no one can ever call your bikes hangar queens.  I think you are adding fuel to the "We Need a Separate Ride Report Section" fire.

Awesome report.  [thumbsup]

You hit most of the places I didn't get to see when I lived in AZ.  [moto]

I'm incredibly jealous.  You have pics to prove you lived a dream I've had for years.  One day....... [thumbsup]

great pics; great trip!  I notice someone likes to pack alot ... ;)

I was noticing the crotec bag setup; I have the exact same set but they dodn't fit nicely like yours! Did you modify the bags?; or maybe the just set up nicer on a sports classic?  When i've setup the bags on my M 800 they were just off the muffler and infact i noticed some light scorching on the bottom of the bags after i had shortened the middle velcro as much as possible .... suggestions?
.... all the world is yours.

[clap]WoW!  That has really got me think of taking an extended trip on the DUC. I have some time going up when I wrap up my Grad school program. Thanks for posting that write up.
