Wow, from New York!! Thanks brother, that's really really nice. We all appreciate the sentiment. I'm sure Marquez does too! Again, thanks for the concern. [thumbsup]

Truely a miracle that you Marquez were able to be released today my friend. When we first got to you and you were still lying face down I thought you were not alive. Thankfully you were strong enough to take a beating like that and pull through. Please contact me when you get around to it and we'll talk. I'll PM you with my number or just look up the page of this post to see it. I'm just so glad you are going to be ok. You really gave us all a scare. Your bike was were certainly in good hands too with Brian and Lisa looking out for it. It really says a lot for these people we were riding with today.

Ok, sorry for the late post but my day started when I got home! Going down I-35 I got run off the road almost having to go onto the median by a very large red Dodge ram-it up your arse pickup who didn't bother to look before coming over on me!! Got home to a neighborhood girl (she practically lives with us like a second daughter) calling the cops on her mom. The kids brought home a stray kid from the church group and after entertaining them with a movie I had to take him 20 miles away, All this just as I was going to run down to the hospital. Glad to do it all though. Today has made me more appreciative of the life I have been blessed with.

First up, I can't agree more with you Brian about this group. After meeting up with you guys only twice I can see that you all have a genuine heart of passion for everyone and their well-being. From the first moment that Tommy came out to the curb @ Razoo's Thursday and helped me pull into a tight parking space and Bonnie helping me with my wardrobe malfunction right through today's incident  I can see that core value you all have. It all just speaks volumes about the integrity of you all. I consider it a great honor that you have allowed me to ride with you.

I can only believe that integrity partly comes from having the intellectual ability to recognize minor things like buying a motorcycle that stays glued to the pavement in the most adverse conditions!! Let's hope it's not by trial and error that brought you to the decision to buy a Duc.

I was born and raised here but I've traveled and lived all over the U.S. and always come home to FW. The people here are what make this prairie town worth living in. Good people are good people no matter where you come from or go. It's hard to find an better bunch than this group. Brian along with that beer you promised I'll certainly put up one of my prized BBQ briskets on the table too. I'm all about cooking good Texas food. So just name the date.

All in all again thanks to George, Bonnie, Tommy, Brian, Lisa and all the rest of you Westies/Easties for a really great day. I can't wait to ride again with you guys.

Wow, what an awesome reply. Thank you for your very generous and complimentary comments. We are who we are. It seems to have always been that way and why would we change? I am personally committed to this group because of what they did for me and Jennifer in our time of need. Forget about me, I was in the good hands of a brilliant neurosurgeon and hospital staff. There were some humerus moments when they volunteered to stand watch over me at night when I was doped up beyond belief. [laugh] What these folks did to help Jen ranks up there with Mother Theresa! You have no idea. Yes, an awesome, helpful group of people. Totally unrivaled.

If Marquez needs anything at all we will be there. Just post up brother and let us know you are OK at home and we will take care of your bike needs too. Just say the word when you are able to. [thumbsup]

Again, thanks Charles for the really nice comments about us all. That means a lot!

Great to hear he's already out of the hospital.  Sounds like a pretty scary situation.  He couldn't have picked a better group to crash with, lots of good people here.

Post up when you can, let us know how you're doing.

I am very glad to hear of the news.  All day he's been on my mind.  Wish him well on my behalf also.  I'm one of the newbies on the tangerine and black Monster.

As for the class of people today...............well there is no better in my opinion.  I've ridden with a multitude of DFW groups and none have been as cordial, accepting and mindful.  You guys made it perfectly clear that you ride to your abilities and I never felt pressed during the trip despite hitting 90 sometimes and still chasing dust.  ;D

I'm very glad to see that it's not just about the bikes but about the people and our shared passion of two wheels.  Definately a group of true comrades.

Great news about Whitecat.

I can not top Charlie's comments but I just want to add some of my own.  Since moving to Dallas 5 months ago I have seen how friendly people are here but today has just blown me away, I am totally impressed with the way so many of you reacted to today's mishap.  I feel I am extremely lucky to have found a group like this that not only share a passion of motorcycles but are also so welcoming, caring and helpful. You truly are an amazing group of people and I look forward to riding and sharing good times with you all again.

It has always been that way. I have never seen anything but that helpful, fun loving attitude. If you need anything this group will pour out it's heart. Again, just great folks. I just follow in their footsteps. Whether you need help moving, need a ride some where, need to transport your bike, need help working on your bike, etc. It just never ends. Why in God's name isn't the rest of the world we live in this way? I am proud to be a part of you folks. Always will be. [thumbsup]
