We're all here for a reason- no need to bash the old board anymore- we have a home.  Or somebody start an "Official VS haters thread" in the NMC forum.  It's getting tiresome to read the (pardon me-) whining threads.  There is really no value in trash talking the past.  Live and post for the future!

I agree with rex's sentiment but understand the need of those with now retired vested interests on the DML to vent and howl at the moon.

A NMC sub forum is a great idea.

Statler's right.  This happened when a bunch of us got banned, and moved to SBN.  Then, it happened again when a bunch of people got banned and Nick created the CDC.  It gets old, after about a week, and then things will even out.

Bashing VS is a waste of time and energy to be honest.  What is done is done.  The bridge is burned and there is no going back.

How does one make DMF the best forum? (and be better than the former site and attract more folks / sponsors / etc)  By creating quality threads with information that is relevant to the Ducatista.  So if you have old projects / pictures, put them together in a "how to" and post.  Make / Model information for newbie enthusiasts -- post it. (The one on the DML was out of date)  New modifications to your bike -- post it.  New ideas for technology, modifications, add-ons, etc -- post it.  For those of you with the S4Rs and who flipped your bars / lowered your gauges -- document it!  Get the idea folks!

Also for those projects posted by folks on the other site -- if you posted it there and it was your pictures/content -- derby it here as the content was yours.  (Just don't post other folks content without permission from the author themselves for legal reasons)

As for myself -- I'm putting together some thread topics to make such threads happen with pictures from prior customer builds.  Hopefully it inspires others to do the same.
