Just got back from trick or treating not too long ago.  Had some weirdo dressed up like a member of KISS, walking back and forth down the sidewalks.  I was just waiting for him to do something crazy like grab one of the kids or expose himself.  I kept my bottle of beer with me so I could beat him over the head with it if he did anything crazy or made any sudden moves......
I don't know, I could crash and burn but maybe, at the end of this road I might catch a glimpse of me...

Thanks Vic and Lisa- great fun Hallow'een partay.

I was stupid and lazy and did not dress up, but got to where a chicken hat and eat Victor and Lisa's cold little smokies.

yummy beer, too.  Got to meet Vic and Lisa's wierd neighbors.  Liked all of them.

Then, to top it all off, we had a total stranger drunk lost guy show up at Vic's front door dressed as an apache witch doctor.  Vic invites him in for a beer.  This guy tells us he is a freelance webdesigner and short-order cook and part-time pay day loan clerk (you can't make this up - truth is stranger than fiction).  Victor regales him with entertaining stories of the Vietnam war.  He (the apache witch doctor) is polite and leaves after 20 minutes without murdering us and we are all grateful.

I love Portland so much.  Driving home from Vic's going east on Foster I saw some amazing things.

Foster & 50th:  a guy in an American Indian costume, bow & arrow & feather in his head.  With immense buttocks glaring, at a distance he looked naked in the dark but once closer I saw he was wearing a loin cloth.  God - thank you for loin cloths - i might have been scarred for life otherwise.

Foster and 60th:  a headless guy (no horse, though) walking around with his head in his hands.  That was a damn good costume.  Must remember that one.  Bloody stump for a neck and everything.  Cool!

Foster and 70th:  Frankenstein's monster and Igor.  Igor had a hump.  What do you mean, what hump?  A hump.  Hump on his back.  Frankenstein was just ok. he was too short.

Foster and 82nd:  2 women dressed up like ho's.  Wait a minute.  Sorry, on second thought, I guess they were ho's.   ;D

Foster and 92nd (New Copper Penny):  Cool genuine dune buggy driven around by a ghost and goth girlfriend in passenger seat.  Far out, man.

What a fun Halloween!

If it's the same guy I saw last year he's a little person and the head around waist level is his real head and the arms and torso are fake!   [bow_down]

I just wanted to say -

After last year,
I can't believe you extended the invatation to the Monster crew again.

Gawdamn was I ever in a different place than the rest of the guests.

Hi Vic!  How's it go?

Fewer drunken motorcycle hooligans [moto], but a great time none the less.  [bacon]

We did have a random person in some sort of crow/shaman costume show up, he wandered in looking for a party that he had directions to.  The directions were correct for our house, so we gave him a beer, [beer] after he called his friends, we found out the place he was looking for was two blocks down the street.
