Here I come again with a thread jack.

If I remember correctly Lucky jacket is inferior to the Delmar. Protection and fit&finish wise.. It also lacks the zipper that connects to the pants.
I was considering it when I was buying a jacket but choose this one insted;

Don't know the model name but it is similar to current Arizona.

And to answer on original question:
I do sometimes wear moto-jacket in public (without protectors).  It is comfortable and I feel good in it. Ladies love it; don't really care what others think. Although, I do sometimes feel like a poser because I don't have a bike at the moment.  ;D

The Lucky jacket is not a racing jacket but a more casual one while still being still safe. It has the same fit and finish,jacket to pant zipper as the delmar. kind of what w7ck7ds was looking for.

Along the same lines, I am looking for a new "classic" jacket. No big logos or graphics. Solid black, removable armor (because I do plan on using it as a regular jacket too). Mandarin or folding collar. No big frills or such. I'm liking a lot of the basic Vansons as they've got a few simple designs. Any other thoughts?

That's exactly what I was looking for too, and I think I found it. Alpinestars Stage. It is perforated, but comes with a liner.

Still looks a bit "racer." I'm looking for something a bit more classic...

I own that AStars jacket...it is a great jacket but it is motorcycle jacket.  I wouldn't wear it if I wasn't riding....especially with the super stiff back-protector I have in it.

my 2 cents.
