Notice how they dont have prices, there is a reason why. D and I are planning our honeymoon and were talking about buying a small airstream and just driving the country for 3 weeks ..... till I priced them,

the 17' sport starts around 33k  :-X :'(

Airstream had a basecamp, that was a little trailer that could be a toy hauler also.  It was still around $27k if I remember right.  They might have dropped it for 2009.

I'm not a big fan of trucks (although I always wanted the one that Michael J. Fox got in Back to the future) but this... IS awesome!!!

That was a Toyota too.

A Japanese truck to haul your exotic italian bike? i forgot Ferarri doesnt make trucks (yet)

I'm not sure about the Tundra, but at least the Tacoma is built in America (California) with more American parts than many American trucks.
I used to have a Dodge 2500 with the Hemi. It was made in freak'n Mexico. When gas started getting expensive, I went to a dealership and they had the breakdown of the Tacoma vs all American made trucks and the Taco was more American than American trucks.

So, it came down to: Do I want to support American workers with a Japanese company, or Mexican workers with an American company.

I choose to go with the American workers (although I do miss my Dodge at times).

So, it's an American made, Japanese truck to haul an exotic Italian bike.

I have this ridiculous urge to buy a toyota truck and paint it ducati red and put my 1098 in the back

It's cool but it's already been done better (my opinion). The Fiat Ducato is pretty bad ass to me.

I wonder if domestically, that could be done with a Dodge Sprinter? The roof would surly be high enough.

I could definitely see that working providing you get the commercial version.

That's cool. I like the extened lenght that that one has to it - with side doors and a sun shade off the side, you could have the perfect pit tent/onsite garage for track days.
