I can see your point Dax. I see a lot of swervy wervy bikes in that segment of bikedom in the first place. At slow speeds 850-1000 lbs of hot motorcycle is hard to hold up!. I live on the east side of Fort Worth and have watched the run yearly from along the side of road as throngs of people do sitting in the back of the pickup waving flags. Maybe it's a better decsion to again watch from the pickup. To get an idea YouTube it and watch to get a feel.

I'm not saying you shouldn't go, personally I don't for this reason BUT it's an experience you should have.  So that said either get there very early or late.  Don't ride in the middle of the pack.

A disclaimer: I've never done a "toy-run" which may be a lot better but again, not to be "Steve Buzzkillington", I did the Ride for Kids Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation ride last year in Grapevine. It was fun, however, very slow (clutch hand got a work out), and a lot of slingshooting (?). I'm glad I did it, though not really looking forward to doing it again. Maybe in a few years I'll get the bug. Gotta work for this one anyway. You kids have fun now hear!

Yeah, sounds like all we need to do is break off from the mega group at about the half way point and maybe have Swanny lead us on a casino run.  We'd be back to T for T before anyone even realized we were gone

If any of you do decide to do the parade just be carefull it's easy to get distracted. There were like 3 different wrecks last year, I am sure some showing off was involved

we will be if it climbs above 20 by the time we plan on leaving but by the looks of things it seems like a grim possibility.
