Haha.

I never liked how Starbucks "corrects" my order.  I say, "I'd like a small black coffee?" and they always reply, "Sure, one tall house drip coming up."  C'mon Starbucks, let's just call it small regular coffee like normal people.

they are not normal people.

Wow.  The guys of BRCC.  Beyond just a thumbs up.

Has anyone here roasted their own beans at home?  I came out here to start a little research on that topic but now might just say screw that and buy from this roaster.   :)

It's all in the grind, Sizemore. Can't be too fine, can't be too coarse. This, my friend, is a science. I mean you're looking at the guy that believed all the commercials. You know, about the "be all you can be." I made coffee through Desert Storm. I made coffee through Panama while everyone else got to fight, got to be a Ranger.

They say mine is a 6-cup.  (I say one serving)

They do make a 12.

Working from home this morning for a little while.  Have the pups by my side and a cup o' Silencer Smooth at hand.

There are a number of colleagues I'm betting who would prefer that the affect of this blend would be more along the lines of "Silence Her" (ain't happening).

What was the “too light for your liking” roast that you pawned off on your coworkers?

I have a bag of Corvus Dead Reckoning.  I like it when I have it there.  Not quite the same at home.  :-\

A new little shop in the home town:  https://205coffee.com

Just opened last fall is my understanding.  Their website doesn't list the beans they have (or much else).   I bought what was highly recommended.  "what everyone else buys".   It was really light.

Shoulda known.  Most people in that area when choosing a crazy spice for instance, go for the pepper shaker.  Not a region of epicurean adventure.   ;)
