monster pipes modification

does anyone know if the exaust pipes can be cutted to get it modified i have seen this in gsx and buells but just wanna know if is possible on ducatis, i have stock pipes

Yes, it is.  If you tell us what kind of monster you have, someone can probably explain it to you or maybe just dig up a thread about how to do it.  For example, if you have low mount pipes for a dual sided swingarm monster, this thread from the Tutorial Section will help walk you through the process:
