Anyone know anything about fixing a cracked carbon fiber fuel tank?
Hard job? Easy? Is that something any body shop can do?
Two wheels good. Four wheels bad.

That will never work so you should just give it to me.  [cheeky]

Seriously, no I'm not sure. There is a guy on the BARF forum (bay area riders), that does a lot of C.F. stuff. He gives classes on how to use it.

basically all a carbon fiber lay up consists of is the same method used to build fiberglass boats, so assuming that you can even find some carbon fiber mat, can determine the type of resin used and do the work or get somebody to do it for you it can be done, i repaired a lot of racing sail boats with carbon fiber its not that bad. if you dont want the carbon to be exposed because you will see the patch i dont think that there is any real way to match the weave well and not see the repair, if interested i know a guy out of white bear lake that might want to do the work for you, let me know and i will give you his number
