Hi I'm here from the old board

I'm new here.  After about 30 years off bikes I just bought my first (only?) monster and have ridden it a little over 150 miles so far ... I'm currently on a 60-day permit and so far I'm loving the ride!  I was on the old board but never posted until April, when I finally started seriously shopping.  I'm in Connecticut, it's a 2008 695 in matte black and so far it's completely stock.  I got a Scorpion helmet because it fit and gave me the affordable protection I need.  Other gear will follow as money allows. I'm looking forward to a trip to Maine to visit family ... as soon as I can buy the rest of my protection, that is.  Meanwhile I enjoy a nice 16 mile backroad trip to work every day it isn't raining.
