dinner before school starts - (1.17.08 @ 6 - D&B)?

There is nothing wimpy about back and neck pain!  I SLIGHTLY tweaked my neck in ROTC.  I couldn't get out of bed for a week    I would have a rough time with what you go through 

Sure it hurts but what really hurts is when it makes me miss stuff like this and other things I want to do. Nothing more sh#@y than seeing a great day coming up in the forecast and knowing you'll be free to ride and then it decides to have one of it's fits. At least this time I did it to it, didn't mean to but I did. It pisses me off more when it decides to act like this for no damn reason. Luckily it's not that often. F*#king turkeys.

You guys and gals have fun tonight. I'll be missing it for sure. James, I'll catch you at the next one. Haven't seen you in forever. Take care.

The food was great.  The company even better.  This is a good place to have a East/West dinner meet.  We will definitely have to do this again.

It doesn't hurt that RichD knows the manager.     Table was ready instantly.  I hate waiting for a table at anyplace.

When I first moved to Texas I rented an apartment a block away from the Rockfish (until I knew where I wanted to buy a house).
It was stumbling distance of my place, great food, great service, and they have a good patio setup with parking in view.

For a last minute "reservation" for 17 people the service was fast, drinks didn't go dry, and from what I could see every meal was spot-on.

Even though I live farther away now I still eat there several times a week!

Good event, thanks J-Mac for organizing.  Next time, stick around!!

Definitely nice save by the man, RichD.  We went from a 2-3 hour wait at D&B's, to a 1 hour 45 minute wait at BJ's, to a walk in, sit down, drink beer & eat food at the Rockfish.  Stef and I had a great time and enjoyed the visiting.
