Her name is Ziv, pronounced zeev. It's Hebrew and roughly translated (very roughly) means shine or radiant.

7lbs 11oz. 20.5 inches. Born Tues 1/6/09 at 3:34 am after 10 hours of labor (8.5 of which was at home). No drugs, no stitching, nada. Apparently, the Blonde is as good at birthing as I am at putting motorcycles--and myself--onto the asphalt. The Blonde and little Ziv are doing just peachy.
