Just my luck, I just got a Zumo 550 and it's already redundant.  [bang]

The 550 is pretty frikking cool though. The main reason I got it is for Speed Camera POIs [leo] [leo], I'm running ermm, sorta low on points.

It's also super handy for finding the closest servo when the fuel light comes on (testastretta owners take note). And it plays MP3s which is neat. The biggest problem with it is, ermm, it's *ugly* when it's on the bike.

It`s always the way with anything electronic, you buy it and in 6 months there`s a new one.
My GPS which was cutting edge 12 months ago is now old hat....

Hey Craigo, I've also got limited points and a Zumo 550 - where are you downloading your Speed Camera POI's from ?

'when in doubt apply throttle' - it may not save you, but it will end the suspense

Wow, I held off buying a Zumo 550 when the guy at Johnny Appleseed hinted that there may be an update on way.
I liked the concept of live traffic updates, but as far as understood it wasn't supported here in Australia as it used a system called XM traffic. I notice that the 660 uses FM update system, so I wonder if it will provide Aussie traffic updates.
yesterday
I wished I had one yesterday when I was riding in the area of Rianna and Gunns Plains (read: sections of the Targa Tasmania).  There's not a whole lot of signage or roadmarkings in that area. hehe
There is no charge for awesomeness... or attractiveness.
