Here's some news on Haga. Situation is looking a little better. [thumbsup] Knowing his drive and determination he will probably take Superpole at the next race!! I wish him well. [clap]

Does anyone know if AMS/D is going to have a Laguna Seca MotoGP race watch party? I see nothing on their website so I am just wondering. ???

If memory serves me right SpeedTV DOES NOT broadcast the Laguna Seca MotoGP races! I am pretty sure it is KDFW FOX Channel 4. Just a word to the wise to check the guide for both SpeedTV and Channel 4/FOX. That;s what I'm doing right after I post this! [thumbsup]

I think they may have also covered the Indy race last year too. Anyone out there with a better memory than me... probably everyone! [laugh]

This is a useful web site for race-related broadcasts:

That's right, FOX Sports broadcasts the stateside MotoGP races at Laguna Seca, and Indy, too, if I'm not mistaken. Great. Action will no doubt be called by "Popular SPEED personality Ralph Sheheen", as the Speed website calls him (who?!?), and either Freddie Spencer or Kevin Schwantz as color man. What will be lost in this star-studded lineup is the technical details and tracksider information that the Dorna commentators offer. I think Speed figures they need to dumb down MotoGP for the Fox viewers, who are used to watching Indy Series and NASCAR oval track racing. These are the same brilliant programming minds who devised AMA PrimeTime, the "destination programming" for airing AMA SBK two weeks after the race and Daytona Pro Racing, the latter being a class solely devised to let 1025 Buells run against Japanese middleweights and Triumph 675s, in hope that the Buells might somehow win!

Anyone who wants to be a well-informed MotoGP enthusiast should consider buying themselves a season pass to MotoGP.com and watching the races online. As sports entertainment values go, it is not that expensive. Compared to your last carbon fiber purchase, it's dirt cheap.

i dont think Buell won any races lately .... they have a Weight disadvantage since Atlanta!

So Pedrosa wins, Rossi takes second, and Stoner....4th???

Stoner FTL.  He was doing so well, and was riding like his former self for most the race, then just lost it....what happened??

He's sick and no one seems to know why or what it is. He just flames out and gets nauseous, damn near has to be lifted off the bike. I thought his tires went off chasing Rossi but I read later that it was him not the bike or the tires. A race or two ago he actually got sick to his stomach during the race and barfed a little 2-3 times in his helmet and still managed to podium. Imagine that! They wiped him and his leathers down and off to the post race interviews he went. Tough SOB. There was a lot of on line joking about his cute wife wearing him out but I think the joking around has stopped and the attention has turned more serious.

Who knows.....we'll see how this seasons turns out....I'm looking forward to Indy.  I'll be there, off of turn 1. :D

This is a real bummer for Max N. I was really looking forward to his return after the nasty ass broken leg healed up. This is a real set back for him and the Alstare team. I have always liked his style, when he is on he does really well. He has got to be depressed over this!
