change of plans for me again, I've invited a lady friend along so looks like I'll be a cager for the day.

G'day Spider.

Transport section to Cann River. I had a ball on the Cann River to Bombala section. One of the factors that made it so enjoyable was the roadsurface and it's lack of leaf litter and gravel (for that day at least ;) ) There are some tighter corners on this road and i was revisiting Superbike School Level 1 Quicksteering techniques...
The road up around Cooma to Canberra enabled relatively high speed work on more sweeper type roads.
The second day saw us heading out towards Braidwood. We had tossed up a road just before Braidwood, but I decided against it on the spur of the moment when I heard that it had 35km of dirt. Got nervous about not making it there for the Monster count. In the end we took the King's Highway (I think) out to Bateman's Bay. Now that was Awesome! Lotsa downhill hairpins and such like. To give you an idea of the gradient; there are run-offs for vehicles towing caravans in the event of brake failure.
Took a wrong turn and ended up Mt Keira on our way to Frasers Wollongong (Fairy Meadow). That was a nice road too; very twisty and a little bumpy in places.
After that we road out to the coast. We wanted to check out the Seacliff Bridge: very cool. Even though the speed limit is fairly low the corners, cambers and spectacular scenery made this ride a pleasure. Finally, we rode through the Royal National Park. I thought it was paradise. Luscious green canopy over a great road. Luckily, we rode it on the Friday afternoon on the way in. I get the imrpession that with it's relatively close proximity to Sydney, it would be a highly popular road on the weekend. ;)

The rest was transport stage.
