I've never ridden a SS and have never been a huge fan, but if the new models look like that then I'm gonna have to go for a ride!  ;)

Too CBR-GSXR-Ninja-Triumph-ish for me.  Where the hell are the sexy Italian curves?!?

(but then again, look at ANY current Bimota...  [roll] )

Curves please.

I own several motorcycles. I have owned lots of motorcycles. And have bolted and/or modified lots of crap to said motorcycles...

Hmm...let's see...slow, ugly, mostly obsolete, largely unseen by others, yet still a lot of fun to pilot. Describes the Supersport to a tee ;D

FWIW, I know a few guys who used to fly that thing. Their words " flys like an 18 wheeler" or " the C130 handles better".
If the SS was an aircraft it would have to be the A7.

From a pilot who rides an SS I'll take your word for it!  ;D

I'm no pilot, but I saw a thang on TV that said the F-117 is impossible to fly without computers keeping it steady.  So naturally, the new SS should have traction control.

AFAIK, every fighter plane built in the last 20 years (or more) falls into that same category.

Sure does. Aerodynamically unstable. It's what makes them so agile. The F-22 is the first real US aircraft to put this to use. The F-117 was a complete compromise to achieve some stealth.
Now take the most agility you can think of and give it almost 200,000 lbs of thrust, thats what I call fun. I miss fighters  :'(
