yea how did you cut the tape to the shape of a curve and then get it on the helmet still straight, or how did you
cut the tape on the helmet without scratching the hell out of it?

Looks like he had a template and cut them flat without any cut outs for the curve. You can see from the reflection that he got some folding in a couple places because he didn't have slits for the curve of the helmet.

Still a nice job!  [thumbsup]

If you are referring to the small Arais in the corners of the Visor , they came loose and I added them.    Dolph

Just bought this for $60 from Motorcycle Superstore.  Squid-esque, but I love it. :)  Comfy too.

Oh man, I wanted an RF-1k Cutlass myself.  Beautiful helmet, and super comfy too...

Love SHOEI RF-1000.  Light, comfy, and priced right.  Only gripe is that the paddings aren't removable for cleaning.  I have to soak the whole helmet.   :-\

well, no pics of my two helmets... one the nitro x810, saved my head on my jan 09accident, the Nolan/X-Lite X 801, is sitting around an open bottom shelf, untill i finish repairing my bike.
both meet or exceed dot/ece/jis and snell standards. paid no more than $250.00 for each at time of purchase. want to get a nolan stoner replica and a foggy replica... ;D
so i cheated and got the images from internet.
will post actual pics soon. promise >>> as promised, the real thing.

Ducati is the pretty girl that can't walk in heels without stumbling. I still love her.
