It's all in the grind, Sizemore. Can't be too fine, can't be too coarse. This, my friend, is a science. I mean you're looking at the guy that believed all the commercials. You know, about the "be all you can be." I made coffee through Desert Storm. I made coffee through Panama while everyone else got to fight, got to be a Ranger.

I need some Proximus.

No.  No you don't.  It will make you so noisy when you go to sleep that your windows will rattle, the cats will cower (even though they're not in the house), Z will likely cry, neighbors will call 911 about the mysterious snore-like noise and Nate will leave knowing he'll get better sleep if he goes into the paint booth in the barn.

Proximus - the fancy word for "there's going to be a heck of a lot of proximity between you and your loved ones".

Pancakes & maple sausage links for brekki.

Good start to spring break.  Also, local dealer is having a Honda open house complete with demo rides.  I'm going to visit them.

it's far from all gone - but enough has melted to begin
we still have 2-3ft snow banks

but the good news is that the early spring bulbs are starting to sprout

Yeah...I left out the 4' tall pile of snow in front of the new house...it needs some snow guard type system to stop it from sliding.

it's depressing. :P

On a positive note, it looks like my insulation scheme and the passive solar design actually works.

It never got below 24 degrees in there all winter, and now that the sun is above the trees that still need cutting it has warmed up to 50.
