My Bitubo damper is pissing out its oil, hardly has the miles on it to justify abject failure

wonder if the seal dried out from the damn thing sitting too long  

debating trash-binning it and getting an Ohlins or trying to get it fixed

this POS was priced waaaay to high to behave like an eBay 69 buck PacRim import   >:(

'Ning all...  Spent a lot of time in the garage this weekend pulling the 749R out of the LSR bike.  Felt like a weekend night whilst I was in high school working on a buddy's car...

Now to open the bastard and see what the insides look like.  LOTS of horror stories about the 749R lunching itself at low mileage...

I have a damper that you can have. I don't have any brackets for it so I never put it on. Im pretty sure its still sitting in the window in the Garage down in California. Unfortunately I just came from there last night.



So it what April the 9th or 10th?







I guess we need the precip but I was hoping for warm spring weather. Ill probably be able to mow some of the lawn this afternoon.

Lunch, thanks for reminding me, flounder, boiled potatoe with cream cheese/cheddar/chives . . . tomatoe/lettuce/cucumber/bell pepper salad . . . to drink, Russian Baltika Beer . . . ;D

when I go to Michigan, I get fed take out and no beer/wine for lunch !!!

I go to company's hq, to train in new systems and help out development, they need someone that can actually ride a bike on the streets . . .
